To become a licensed insurance agent in Ontario, one must complete the qualifying examination through the Insurance Institute of Canada and meet other licencing requirements set by the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO).
To become a licensed insurance broker in Ontario, one must complete the qualifying examination and meet licensing requirements of the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO).
