Local Employment Requirements
Many employers require their electrical and electronics engineering technologist and technician workers to be certified. The Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) certifies technicians (C. Tech) and engineering technologists (C.E.T.) after post-secondary training, at least two years of work experience, a professional practice examination, and other requirements.

Local Training
Training is available at more than 20 publicly funded colleges and several private institutions located throughout the province.
