- The Audi car dealership in Sherbrooke is investing $5M to build a new building. This investment will create six new jobs. (available in French only)
- The City of Bécancour is investing more than $1.5M to replace the ozonization system in its drinking water treatment plant (available in French only)
- ArcelorMittal, which owns an iron ore extraction complex in Fermont, is continuing to expand. Some 725 jobs will be added to the existing 1,000 over the next 30 years. (available in French only)
- Groupe Quorum, a real estate developer, announced construction of some 50 condominiums in two buildings in Verdun. The project will be completed in fall 2014. (available in French only)
- Construction is under way on Loft Angus, a 60-unit residential project in Rosemont Petite-Patrie. The housing complex is expected to open in spring 2014. (available in French only)

- Target will invest $10M to set up shop in Sherbrooke's Carrefour de l'Estrie in a space previously occupied by Zellers
- A residential tower estimated at $60M will be erected in Griffintown. Devimco Immobilier will build 257 dwelling units by the beginning of 2015. (available in French only)
- Fifteen-some workers have been laid off for a month-long period at Resolute Forest Products of Saint-Fulgence
- The Seigneurie Le Victorin of Victoriaville, a retirement home, is proceeding with a new expansion estimated at $3.6M (available in French only)

- The Bank of Montreal has officially opened a new branch in Terrebonne in the Lachenaie sector, following an investment of more than $1M to build it. This investment will create about a dozen jobs. (available in French only)
- The construction of a 65-room hotel, the M-Hôtel Mirabel, will soon begin in Mirabel. An investment of $10M will be required to complete it and will allow for the creation of 65 new jobs. The hotel is expected to open by the end of 2013. (available in French only)
- After an investment of $400,000, Dessercom, a company specializing in ambulance transportation, opened its station in Lyster (available in French only)
