- The Bank of Montreal has officially opened a new branch in Terrebonne in the Lachenaie sector, following an investment of more than $1M to build it. This investment will create about a dozen jobs. (available in French only)
- The construction of a 65-room hotel, the M-Hôtel Mirabel, will soon begin in Mirabel. An investment of $10M will be required to complete it and will allow for the creation of 65 new jobs. The hotel is expected to open by the end of 2013. (available in French only)
- After an investment of $400,000, Dessercom, a company specializing in ambulance transportation, opened its station in Lyster (available in French only)

- Le Finlandais spa has announced the start of reconstruction work following a fire in April. The facility in Rosemère, which employs 150 people, will invest $2.5 million to enlarge its installations and will open in August 2013. (available in French only)
- Valeant Canada, the pharmaceutical company, has opened its new head offices in Laval after an investment of $70M to modernize it and move its production activities from Montréal. Valeant employs 140 people. (available in French only)

- The municipal garage in the Jonquière borough of Saguenay will be expanded with an investment of $4.75M (available in French only)

- The Coopérative funéraire de la Rive-Sud de Montréal has announced that construction work on its new Laval funeral home, a project estimated at $3.1M, will start in June 2013. It is scheduled to open at the end of October 2013. (available in French only)
- Work on the new Shriners Hospital for Children in Montréal is progressing well. Nearly $130M in private funds have been invested in order for the establishment to open in Fall 2015. (available in French only)
- Québec City will invest at least $2.4M in a virtual safe box pilot project developed by the Almerys society. This group has promised an investment of $15M in the project and will hire approximately forty people in Quebec. (available in French only)
- The women's undergarment retailer La Senza will close its Dorval distribution centre in September 2013. Approximately 70 positions will be eliminated when the company delocalizes its operations to the central United States. (available in French only)
- FACC Solutions Canada, Inc., a company specializing in the development and production of aircraft interiors, plans to hire a dozen engineers and project leaders in Saint-Eustace. The company currently has 34 employees. (available in French only)
- The Tricentris sorting centre started construction on a factory in Lachute that will micronize recycled glass. The factory, a $10 million project, will open in October 2013 and will create a dozen jobs. (available in French only)
- Galderna, a company that manufactures dermatological products and is located in Baie-d'Urfé, has invested $53M to modernize its factory to increase its production capacity. The company plans to hire staff following this investment. (available in French only)
