- Elementary school École Sainte-Cécile, located in the Jonquière borough of Saguenay, will expand its gymnasium at a cost of $1.65M (available in French only)
- Shopping centre, Place Longueuil, will be renovated for approximately $33.3M (available in French only)
- Target will invest $10M to set up shop in Sherbrooke's Carrefour de l'Estrie in a space previously occupied by Zellers
- A residential tower estimated at $60M will be erected in Griffintown. Devimco Immobilier will build 257 dwelling units by the beginning of 2015. (available in French only)
- The Seigneurie Le Victorin of Victoriaville, a retirement home, is proceeding with a new expansion estimated at $3.6M (available in French only)
- The nursing staff of CHUS will have access to a new tool to perfect their training in traumatology in an emergency room. The software is estimated to close to $1M.
- French animation studio Digital District has announced the opening of its head office as well as that of a 3D production studio in Montreal, leading to the creation of 150 jobs (available in French only)

- After an investment of $400,000, Dessercom, a company specializing in ambulance transportation, opened its station in Lyster (available in French only)
- Acrobate, a company specializing in the printing of textiles and promotional objects in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, has moved and created a few jobs (available in French only)
- EQMBO-Entreprises, the collegial centre of technology transfer of Cégep de Victoriaville, which specializes in wood processing of finished products, has invested $1M in an industrial finishing research laboratory (available in French only)
- Canada Post modernizes its facilities at its mail processing establishment located in the Saint-Laurent borough to increase its productivity. At a cost of $200M, work will be completed in December 2013. (available in French only)

- Due to the demographic explosion in the Laurentides, the ministère de l'Éducation du Québec has announced an investment of nearly $15M to enlarge and renovate the facilities of the CEGEP de St-Jérôme and increase its capacity (available in French only)

- École de Technologie Supérieure and McGill University announced the official launch of Quartier de l'innovation in Montréal. Investments of $6B over ten years are expected (available in French only)
- With an investment of $5M, the first phase of the VV condos (vue et vertige) is underway on Boulevard Lionel-Groulx in Sherbrooke and will be completed in the fall (available in French only)
- IKEA Montréal has invested over $80M to increase the floor area of its store between now and the end of June. The store will be the largest IKEA in North America. (available in French only)
- $4.5M will be invested in the Hôtel-Dieu d'Arthabaska in Victoriaville to expand the oncology clinic and create a pediatrics wing. Work will begin in Spring 2014 to end in the fall of the same year. (available in French only)

- The McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) is going through a second wave of cuts since the spring. More than sixty positions will be eliminated following an optimization project intended to reduce expenses. (available in French only)
- The Coopérative funéraire de la Rive-Sud de Montréal has announced that construction work on its new Laval funeral home, a project estimated at $3.1M, will start in June 2013. It is scheduled to open at the end of October 2013. (available in French only)
- Work on the new Shriners Hospital for Children in Montréal is progressing well. Nearly $130M in private funds have been invested in order for the establishment to open in Fall 2015. (available in French only)
- Québec City will invest at least $2.4M in a virtual safe box pilot project developed by the Almerys society. This group has promised an investment of $15M in the project and will hire approximately forty people in Quebec. (available in French only)
- The women's undergarment retailer La Senza will close its Dorval distribution centre in September 2013. Approximately 70 positions will be eliminated when the company delocalizes its operations to the central United States. (available in French only)
