Québec - The provincial government will invest $1.3B into road infrastructures for the Montréal region in the next couple of years; more than 80 construction sites will be located on the island.  
Nova Scotia - Cape Breton, Truro, and especially New Glasgow are experiencing problems with economic growth, job loss, and/or population decreases since the recession, according to the Conference Board of Canada  
Québec - Saguenay company Cegerco has obtained an $111M in contracts for the construction of a Romaine-1 hydroelectric power plant on the Côte-Nord and for rebuilding the cafeteria of the LG-2 complex in James Bay. The company plans to hire 250 people.
